Sales Tax
We collect sales tax for orders delivering into the following states:

  • New York: 8.625% on all orders
  • North Carolina: 6.75%% on all orders
  • New Jersey: 7%% on all orders

Charge Policy
We will charge your credit card at the time your order is placed. We do this because we process orders on your behalf with the factories we work with. These factories have specific policies regarding cancellations and returns so we charge up front to avoid any issues. Free!! - Small Parcel (FedEx, UPS)
We will ship small and appropriately sized items via UPS, FEDEX. Your items will be placed at your door in their original packaging. We will provide you with tracking numbers so you can follow the progress of your items online. Please be home to accept and sign for your delivery. Your Delivery time depends on how far you live from the shipping point and can vary between 2 and 6 Business days.

Free!! – Threshold Plus Truck Delivery

We will ship larger items via Threshold Plus Truck Delivery to Your House Anywhere in the 48 States, this is not a 'Curbside' delivery. The Delivery Service will place your items within your home, just inside your Doorway, to the first dry area or garage. Merchandise will be left in its original packaging. Please have all delivery pathways cleared prior to your delivery.

Upgrad to White Glove Delivery
You can upgrade to a White Glove Delivery service and have your Furniture set-up in your room of choice with debris removal. The White Glove Delivery Service will place items within the room of choice in your home.  White Glove Delivery includes moving items up a total of two flights of stairs. Please contact us if the delivery will require moving items up more than 2 flights of stairs where a service elevator is not available because additional fees will apply. Merchandise will be unpacked, debris removed, with light assembly up to 45 minutes. Please have all delivery pathways cleared prior to your White Glove Delivery.

Light Assembly would be defined, as any assembly that requires minimal tools and is sufficiently simple as to allow the average person with instructions to assemble. The required tools should be no more complex than a screwdriver, wrench, or Allen key.

 
Please Note:

All White Glove Deliveries require additional preparation.  Thus delivery time frames will be a bit longer but it is worth it.  These orders go through additional preparation ensuring a better delivery experience.  Our white glove delivery agents are set up where you will receive a call and or email within 10 business days or less, after your order has shipped, to schedule your delivery date.  Please note this does not mean you will receive your delivery within 10 business days but rather you will be contacted to schedule your delivery date within 10 business days of your order shipping.  Delivery time frames are dependent upon where you live in relation to the origin point of the manufacturer of your furniture.    
The Delivery Professionals cannot move any items blocking a delivery attempt. The Delivery Company cannot do any electrical hookups will not connect, install, attach, or affix goods delivered to existing fixtures, walls, or furniture in your home. The following services are not included: hanging mirrors on walls, installing anything that attaches to a permanent fixture, assembly of cribs, attaching headboards to existing bed frames, or installation of wood/glass shelves.  Lastly, the drivers are delivering heavy product by hand and so are required to wear steel-toed shoes. It is not permitted for them to remove their shoes to complete deliveries. There are many products available to protect your carpet and flooring. If you feel your home needs extra protection, please prepare accordingly.

Additional fees will be applied to:
* Deliveries that require movement of merchandise up more than 2 flights of stairs where a service elevator is not available. ($15 per piece per floor)
* Deliveries that require longer assembly times than those stated above. (Assembly services that exceed forty five (45) minutes will be charged at a rate of $22.00 per quarter hour or Fraction thereof.)

* Deliveries refused that are not damaged. (Our Hassel Free Return policy will apply)

* Deliveries to trade shows, hotels, conventions, hospitals or military bases will be rated with an additional charge of $50.00 for each delivery plus an accumulated waiting time charge, if any.


Isolated Service Area Surcharge
There are remote areas not readily accessible by delivery vehicle, such as coastal islands that require freight to be flown or barged in, or a ferry toll is required. This surcharge will show up on your check-out page as Isolated Service Area Surcharge.

Assembly
Some assembly is necessary on most items. All parts and instructions will be provided along with your item.

Normal Business Delivery Hours
When you are contacted by the shipper to schedule a delivery - Normal Business Delivery Hours are as follows: Monday through Friday excluding National and State Holidays, between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. A typical appointment will have a 4-hour delivery window. Time-specific deliveries and/or deliveries outside normal delivery hours may be available but at an additional charge. Please contact us if you feel that you may need additional services.

Temporary Storage
Please be prepared to take delivery as your order specifies. If you are unable to accept delivery for an undefined period of time, temporary storage charges will commence after the 6th day from the date we contact you for delivery. Please contact us should this situation arise.

Attempt Fee
Please be home for your delivery. Any scheduled delivery that cannot be made because you are not home will incur a $99 delivery attempt fee plus the actual re-delivery charge. Please be aware that while some of our products are offered with free delivery the actual delivery costs will be calculated for your re-delivery.

Delivery Cancellation
Please take care when scheduling your delivery. There is a 10 hour window from the moment a delivery is scheduled, where a delivery appointment can be canceled, after which a scheduled delivery cannot be canceled without incurring a redelivery charge.  Please be aware that while some of our products are offered with free delivery the actual delivery costs will be calculated for your re-delivery.

 

Follow these ‘Steps when receiving your order’:

(1)  You must be home to accept, sign and inspect your delivery.

(2)  If your package/item appears even slightly damaged, write "Package/Item Damaged" with a full description, when you sign for your delivery.

(3)  For orders that have multiple items, refuse ONLY that damaged piece.  Any non-damaged pieces that are refused are subject to re-delivery fees.

(4)  Keep all original packaging materials.  Any returned items are required to be in their original packaging.

(5)  By not inspecting the product(s) or not notating damage, either to the product(s) or box(s), on the delivery ticket at the time of delivery, you relinquish the right to file a claim for damage.

(6)  Please notify us within 12 hours from time of delivery with damage description along with images of the packaging and product.

HASSLE FREE RETURN POLICY

Our customer satisfaction is our main priority.  For internet orders, we will accept returns of merchandise for any reasons up to 30 days.  On all shipments returned, you will receive your refund minus round trip shipping costs and a 25% restocking fee.  Items being returned must be in new condition and in original packaging.  A few of our vendors may be excluded from our return policy but this will be clearly displayed on the page of the item. Please note when an order is placed for a custom fabric, custom finish or custom size - these "Special Custom Orders" cannot be returned or refunded. Some of our products are offered with free shipping, so please be aware that if you return one of these products the actual shipping costs will be deducted from your return refund.

Cancellations
An order can be canceled and receive a full refund at any time, except if it has already shipped, these orders will be subject to our Hassle Free Return Policy. Lastly, if your order was placed for a custom fabric, custom finish or custom size - these "Special Custom Orders" cannot be canceled.

Expectations

Once your online order is placed you will immediately receive 3 emails. 

The first email is to thank you for your business, with an order review and instructions on how to: check order status & track your order. 

The second email is a shipping review email.  Here we describe the difference between shipping and delivery times.  Even though this is clearly stated on the site, we feel obligated to further communicate with our customers, in order to eliminate any confusion concerning the shipping and delivery time frames of their order.

While your order is processing and has not yet shipped, we will email you weekly status updates. 

In addition, you can go to our site and click on the ‘Order Status’ icon shown on the top right of every page.  There, you can check order status and view tracking info when posted.

The third email will be your Store/credit card receipt.


Sales Tax
We do not collect sales tax to deliveries made outside the State of New York & New Jersey. When a delivery is made to addresses within the State of New York or New Jersey, then the appropriate sales tax will be collected. Please check State laws when purchasing online.

Fabrics & Finishes
We get our images directly from the manufacturers, who sample the fabrics from their mills to make sure the colors are consistent. We use high quality images to insure the most accurate representation of color that is possible. However, other factors, such as the model and age of your computer monitor and/or video card could cause subtle variances. More so, incandescent lighting, fluorescent lighting, direct sunlight, or any combination of those all may cast a slightly different hue. If the exact color of a fabric or finish is absolutely imperative to your decision making process, please contact us and we will make every effort to get you a sample. We are not responsible for slight differences in color or finish.

What does Distressed Furniture mean?
Distressing is a very desirable look in today's furniture. Distressed furniture has a unique appearance and vintage look that is sought after by many. A piece of distressed furniture has a sense of individuality and character. Through distressing, imperfections are glamorized and it is those very imperfections that are highly desirable. Please be aware that a piece of distressed furniture will look weathered, that is the whole point and beauty of a distressed piece. Surfaces will appear rubbed, dented, dimpled, crackled, white washed, sanded down, etc... A worn appearance is the desired effect.

Stone used in the making of fine furniture is a choice or combination of Marble, Granite, Slate, or Travertine.  The remarkable natural beauty has captivated humans throughout the ages. These beautiful materials are quarried from all parts of the world. Every region is unique in the color, veining, pits and seams. These are the hallmark characteristics of this natural material. They tell the story of many centuries of crystalline structure caused by pressure, heat, mineral-rich spring water, and movement of the earth. From piece to piece and even on a single quarried slab, there will be certain amount of color variation. These irregularities are interesting to the eye and bring a natural element into human designed spaces.  Stone, Marble, and Slate have natural cracks, chips, and imperfections.  These are not defects but rather the natural beauty of the Stone.  These are not returnable item(s).

Measurement
We make every effort to get you the most precise information & all of our product measurements are obtained directly from the manufacturer.  It is important that you measure the space in which you intend to place the merchandise as well as the height and width of all doorways, hallways, and turns that it will need to traverse to get there.  If you live in an apartment building make certain the furniture will fit when maneuvering through any common entranceways, elevators, or stairwells as we access your apartment.  Please remember that you are ultimately responsible to make sure that the item you selected will fit within your home. In the event that a delivery is refused because it will not fit our Hassle Free Return Policy will apply.

Please note, that Breuners Home Furnishings Company is ultimately not responsible for slight deviations (less than 3") in the measurements stated on our site.

Warranties
Most manufacturers offer a 1-year warranty against defects from date of delivery. Please contact us for exact warranty information including available extended warranty plans.

Overall Site Usage

Catnapper Limited Lifetime Warranty

Thank you for choosing CATNAPPER Reclining Furniture. You have made an investment in lasting quality which will bring you many years of enjoyment and comfort. Please read the terms of the CATNAPPER limited warranty coverage carefully. Retain your proof of purchase to substantiate your claim in the event warranty service is required. For any service claims, please contact the dealer where product was purchased. Catnapper will supply the part(s) either under warranty or at cost, as long as they are available. After one (1) year, the labor and parts shipping costs will be the responsibility of the consumer.

1. RECLINER MECHANISM - Limited Lifetime Warranty: Recliner mechanisms are warranted against breakage due to defective material or workmanship for the lifetime of the product.

2. SPRINGS - Limited Lifetime Warranty: The spring units of Catnapper products are warranted against breakage due to defective material or workmanship for the lifetime of the product.

3. FRAME - Limited Lifetime Warranty: The frame, upholstered in the original fabric under normal use and conditions, is warranted to the original purchaser against manufacturing defects for the lifetime of the product.

4. COMFORT COIL SEAT CUSHIONS - Five (5) Year Warranty: Catnapper products feature the Comfort Coil Seat Cushion offering superior seating comfort. Cushions are warranted for five (5) years against loss of resiliency. The loss of resiliency should not be confused with a slight softening and flattening of the fiber and foam that will occur as a result of normal use and aging.

5. POWER MOTORS - Three (3) Year Warranty: The motor for a Pow'r Lounger or Pow'r Lift product features a three (3) year warranty against defects. The label with the serial number from the defective motor must be returned to receive credit.

6. ALL OTHER PARTS - One (1) Year Warranty: All other parts not specifically listed as being warranted are covered under a one year limited warranty against defective material or workmanship. This warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the defective part such as table tops, latches, hinges, transformers, handwands, massage/heat and electrical system components.

WARRANTY LIMITATIONS

The warranty does not include:

  • Any defect in upholstery fabrics. There is no warranty on vinyl, leather or fabric against wearing, fading, pilling, stretching, dye lots, natural markings or splitting.
  • Any condition resulting from incorrect or inadequate maintenance, cleaning, or care.
  • Any condition resulting from other than ordinary residential wear or from any use for which the product was not designed.

All Products

In the event that a defect is found, repair or replacement under this warranty is at the manufacturer's option. Cost for labor, packaging and shipping from the factory, if it is necessary, is covered by Catnapper for a period of one year. After one year from date of purchase, the original retail purchaser will be responsible for labor, packaging and all shipping costs.

These Limited Warranties provide coverage to the original retail purchaser and do not apply to rented, business, commercial, institutional, or other non-residential uses. These Limited Warranties do not apply to:

  • merchandise that was, at any time, used as a floor sample or display model,
  • any merchandise purchased 'as is' or second-hand,
  • any merchandise purchased at a distress sale or a going-out-of business sale, or
  • any merchandise purchased from a liquidator.
  • All warranties, whether express or implied, cover only normal household usage. No warranty, express or implied, applies to any condition resulting from misuse, abuse, delivery or transportation damage.

Warranty Service:

LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES UNDER ANY AND ALL WARRANTIES IS EXCLUDED.
Some states do not allow the exclusions of limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

All claims for service must be accompanied by proof of purchase (Bill of Sale and the Products Serial Number). Any claim for service under warranty must be made through the retail dealer where the furniture was purchased.

Jackson Limited Lifetime Warranty

Please read the terms of the JACKSON limited warranty coverage carefully. Retain your proof of purchase to substantiate your claim in the event warranty service is required. For any service claims, please contact the dealer where product was purchased. Jackson Furniture will supply the part(s) either under warranty or at cost, as long as they are available. After one (1) year, the labor and parts shipping costs will be the responsibility of the consumer.

1. FRAME - Limited Lifetime Warranty The frame, upholstered in the original fabric under normal use and conditions, is warranted to the original purchaser against manufacturing defects for the lifetime of the product.

After one year from date of purchase by the dealer, the original retail purchaser will be responsible for labor, packaging and all shipping costs.

These Limited Warranties provide coverage to the original retail purchaser and do not apply to rented, business, commercial, institutional, or other non-residential uses. These Limited Warranties do not apply to

  • merchandise that was, at any time, used as a floor sample or display model,
  • any merchandise purchased 'as is' or second-hand,
  • any merchandise purchased at a distress sale or a going-out-of business sale, or
  • any merchandise purchased from a liquidator.
  • All warranties, whether express or implied, cover only normal household usage. No warranty, express or implied, applies to any condition resulting from misuse, abuse, delivery or transportation damage.

Warranty Service

LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES UNDER ANY AND ALL WARRANTIES IS EXCLUDED. Some states do not allow the exclusions of limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

All claims for service must be accompanied by proof of purchase (Bill of Sale and the Products Serial Number). Any claim for service under warranty must be made through the retail dealer where the furniture was purchased.
